Bike Friendly Business: accreditation and grants up to £5000
Bikes are brilliant for business; they really are a win-win! Employees who travel by bike typically take fewer days off sick, they arrive feeling more alert and are more productive.
At CityConnect, we want to help you to be a Bike Friendly Business, where travelling by bike is the easiest and most convenient option. Sign up for Bike Friendly Business accreditation and we’ll support you in encouraging cycling at your organisation!
We will visit your business to assess your existing facilities and offer free expert advice with achievable goals. This will cover:
- Cycle parking and other provisions to suit your business such as shower or changing facilities, lockers or maintenance kits.
- Ways to share cycle route maps, support your staff and actively promote cycling at your organisation.
Once we’ve assessed your business, you can apply for a grant up to £5000 to help create that perfect environment for cyclists.
The best businesses will receive Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation as recognition for their efforts in actively encouraging staff and customers to travel by bike.
CityConnect are also working to improve cycling infrastructure across West Yorkshire, to make your journey even easier.
