CityConnect Cycle Superhighway
The Cycle Superhighway is 23km of segregated cycle path between Leeds and Bradford.
20mph zones have been introduced at key points along the Cycle Superhighway route.
Leeds Liverpool Canal Improvements
CityConnect, in partnership with The Canal and River Trust, have made significant improvements to the towpath of the Leeds-Liverpool canal, from Leeds City Centre through to Skipton
go:walking aims to encourage more people to walk more often and is co-ordinated by West Yorkshire Combined Authority, in partnership with West Yorkshire’s five district councils.
Canal Road Bradford
The CityConnect Canal Road Bradford project aims to provide a route segregated from traffic and pedestrians between the Canal Road Greenway and Bradford City Centre.
Leeds City Centre Improvements
Improvements to Leeds City Centre cycling infrastructure will build on the Superhighway project, improving access around and through the City Centre.
Huddersfield Town Centre
The Huddersfield Town Centre project aims to provide up to 5km of new cycle infrastructure that will connect cyclists to the Huddersfield Town Centre.
Wakefield to Castleford
This project consists of constructing a cycleway and walking route linking Castleford, Normanton Europort and Wakefield.
The Calderdale Canals project aims to improve the existing route between Tormorden and Brighouse, following the National Cycle Network Route 66.
Huddersfield Narrow Canal Improvements
The Huddersfield to Golcar Canal project aims to improve the existing Narrow Canal East towpath
York: Scarborough Bridge
This project consists of building a new, wider bridge across the River Ouse near to the centre of York, adjacent to the existing Scarborough-line railway bridge.
The Neighbourhoods project will deliver a number of schemes based around local neighbourhood areas.
